Meet the Statewide Leadership Team

The 84 Movement's Statewide Leadership Team is a group of youth from across the state representing up to 20 different Chapters who meet weekly and are key leaders in identifying ways to improve our program. They give feedback on programmatic activities, talk with each other about tobacco issues in their communities, lead our statewide events and trainings, and are our key spokespeople in the media. Through the course of the year, they design and participate in our Spring Identity Series workshops that addressed identity, types of racism, structural barriers BIPOC experience, etc.  Over the years, these youth are often recognized for their local efforts that challenge the status quo and make real change.
