Somerville Positive Forces are a group of youth leading positive change around issues related to youth substance use. SPF is a youth development program supported by the Somerville Cares About Prevention community coalition under the Health and Human Services Department. The mission of SPF is to support social change that would empower youth to make healthier decisions regarding the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. The vision of SPF is to create a community where youth are seen as assets and have access to a number of opportunities and experiences that foster human potential and leadership.
