Why did you join the Statewide Leadership Team?
I had always loved being able to advocate for addiction prevention and mental health in my Chapter, but I was really interested in continuing that work on a larger scale and with other youth from around the state. The SLT gives me the opportunity to do exactly that, and it allows me to combine my passion for addiction prevention with leadership and social justice advocacy. I hope to continue to grow as a leader on the SLT and to learn from all of the other incredible members so that we can make a difference in our communities and the state as a whole!
