My favorite food is lamb shish kebab with rice pilaf.
What made you want to join The 84 Movement?
I had been working with my local chapter for two years to raise awareness about youth substance abuse and mental health. I was drawn to the 84 Movement because it places an emphasis on these issues that I have passion for and have lots of experience with. I wanted to make a difference that extended throughout the entire Commonwealth, not just in my city.
How did you first learn about The 84?
I first learned about the 84 when my local chapter attended Kick Butts Day in Boston. The event was so fun and educational, and I wanted to get more involved in their work so I could be behind events like this.

The people on this team are so passionate and dedicated to making Massachusetts a healthier, more equitable place.

I need a water bottle in my backpack at all times. I carry my marble Swell with me like it’s my baby.
What is one of the funniest moments you have had working with the Statewide Leadership Team?
For Carly’s birthday, the team changed the lyrics of I believe it was “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys to include a birthday wish, and we recorded ourselves singing it over Zoom for her. The performance was horrifically out of time and tune, which had all of us laughing, but Carly loved it.
Bonus Question! What are you excited about for when COVID restrictions are lifted?
I’m excited to get back outside, see my friends, and go on runs without a mask!
