Kick Butts Day: Take Down Tobacco is a national day that raises awareness of the importance of preventing tobacco use among teens. Here in Massachusetts, over 200 youth come to Boston from around the state.
The event is typically held at the Massachusetts Statehouse, but with Social Distancing in effect, we hosted a VIRTUAL event this year! Despite the distance, this event was a huge success with 245 people in attendance including the Commissioner of the MA Department of Public Health Monica Bharel, Senator John Keenan, and Representative Danielle Gregoire!
We’re so excited about this amazing turn out! Thank you to all the Chapters and guests who attended our Kick Butts Day: Take Down Tobacco virtual event, we couldn’t have done it without you!
