The South Boston Community Health Center's Youth Ambassador Tobacco Fighters are teens ages 13 - 19 that organize activities and projects to educate their peers and community about the benefits of a smoke-free and healthy life. Topics that the Youth Ambassadors promote are tobacco control/prevention, community engagement, volunteerism, substance abuse prevention and nutrition/fitness. The Youth Ambassadors have worked with the Boston Public Health Commission to implement policy changes in the area of youth access to tobacco products.
