Previously, we announced the opportunity to create videos for the “Dance. Don’t Chance.” and the school breakfast video contests. Whether you were able to submit a video for those contests or not, now you have another chance to test your skills behind the camera!
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is seeking short videos created by teens to encourage their peers to avoid drinking alcohol and to never get in a car with someone who's been drinking. Keep in mind that your video should focus on underage drinking prevention, not drunk driving. You will be judged by how well you use creativity to grab the audience’s attention and make a point, and by the quality of the video. Don’t worry though; it doesn’t need to be ready for prime time!
What’s at stake?
As 84 teens know, youth have a powerful voice that can have a substantial influence on others. Remember that your video may be able to prevent some of the 6,000 deaths that result each year from underage drinking. Make sure you submit your video by April 27th, 2012 to be considered.
