Recently, the YWCA TASK girls visited math classes in their high school to pass out "Do Nows" that were meant to inform them on the cost of cigarettes. Students were asked to calculate how much they would spend in a week, month, and year on cigarettes and were shown options of what they could get with that money (like go on a ski trip or paying for college books). The kids were very receptive of the information given to them and we were pleased with their enthusiam to learn about tobacco.
