Due to some troubles with our chapter site, we are re-posting the update on our GASO at Boston Trinity Academy (BTA) back in Nov. 17 and 18. Though this is a old news now, but we still have to give everyone the news of what we did as a sign of our commitment and solidarity to the 84 movement.
BTA's 84 chapter members placed posters of big tobacco's quotes all around the school campus the day before GASO. On the day of GASO, the chapter members created a buzz during lunch time by showing them the photo booth and asked students to take pictures with their responses to the big tobacco. Our students showed outrage and responded with overwhelming support of the 84 movement. The next day, we made a collage out of the photos we took on GASO. Even now, students frequently stop by the collage and continue to show their support and solidarity to the youth movement that stands up against the influence of the big tobacco.
Go 84!
